USING TEAMS TO FUEL EXPONENTIAL EXPANSION

Dear Readers:

Facts:


1. You are immersed in the time-consuming business of networking;


2. You are trying to find the key to building your Relationship Capital so that you can create better dyad units (social pairs) with other networkers;


3. You have your doubts about the traditionalist notion of competition, and about the conventional corporate structure. You feel unsafe, unsure, and in the throes of a major shakeup in both the social and business paradigms;


4. You cannot optimize your success potential by working alone, and you worry about having to be too self-sufficient as much as you worry about having some third party determine your future;


5. You have heard the cliches about "safety in numbers," "diversify your assets and your streams of income," and the like;


6. You need assets, contacts, resources and abilities that other people have;


7. You have assets, contacts, resources and abilities that other people need;


8. You would be more productive if you were not as consumed with entrepreneurial worries;


9. You spend a bit too much of your time on non income-producing administrative and organizational activities;


10. You are expecting me to get you all worked up at the prospect of being part of a team.


Contacts are wonderful. Relationships are better. Teams are the ultimate structure for safely and surely achieving greater goals, whether monetary or social.


Examples of teamcraft (I've invented a term!) which will capture your attention:


  • 1,000 persons working together could bring any website or blogsite to the highest search engine rankings on Google;



  • 100 persons working together could bring the cost of publicity, press releases and public relations down from a budget value of $5,000 per month (per participant) to between $100 and $250 per month -- imagine getting the benefit of a $5,000 monthly PR budget for $100!;



  • A syndicate of 5,000 like-minded individuals could purchase a controlling stake in a small publicly -traded company for an investment of $100 each;



  • A team of 10 individuals, each with access to 10 more individuals, and each of those "second layer" individuals, in turn, having access to 10 more individuals could send a message out to one million individuals by merely requesting (through six "layers" of contacts) an email to be forwarded. If each recipient were to contribute one dollar to a specified charity, $1,000,000 could be raised in very little time;



  • A team of 25 individuals could cross-pollinate their marketing lists in order to give each team member 25 times the opt-in market he or she otherwise might have had -- instantly!;

Think of the further possibilities with pooling revenues (diversified income streams), sharing fixed costs (reducing the operating cost per member)... Think about the TEAM as the ultimate operating subunit. Large teams are made up of smaller teams. Open your mind to team collaboration. The benefits are virtually limitless...greater marketing, greater profitability, greater security...
