2. I wanted to share a post from INTERNAL ENERGY PLUS with you. If you don't laugh about this (sadonic muttering or nodding you head from side to side are both acceptable forms of "laughter" for the purposes of this exercise), you have been reading THE FINANCIAL TIMES too assiduously. You may even need a laxative.

Here it is:

TRUE FACT!: Approximately 8% of all U.S. residents who speak American English (man, that sounds ridiculous) as a primary language have an unexplainable propensity to refer to a "Notary Public" as a "Notary Republic". Of these persons, at least 73% will say "regiment" when they mean "regimen".
