TNNW BULLETIN & ARTICLES, MARCH, 2009, WEEK 1

Dear Readers:

Welcome to the month of March. Before jumping in, I wanted to suggest to you that we have something extraordinary at THE NATIONAL NETWORKER -- it is called "camaraderie," a word which I spell incorrectly most of the time.

We have the power to do so much for each other, and it is time to use this reserve of amazing potential. We can:

1. Be emotionally and financially supportive of each other, and of our respective businesses, both operating and contemplated. It does not require vast sums of money to call on old friends and reconnect...to send words of encouragement to new business contacts...to convert strangers into acquaintances, and acquaintances into friends. We can give more of ourselves; and in so doing, we can gain so much more than we give. We can celebrate all that we have in common, and we can view our differences as complementary skills or viewpoints.

2. We can communicate with greater frequency and with greater purpose -- we can stay in touch. Telephone, email, texting...an impromptu visit to a restaurant to dine together

3. We can ask for advice, and offer advice.

4. We can engage in some friendly bartering, where goods and services have real value, and where the Dollar, the Euro and the standing of the capital markets are inconsequential.

5. We can make each other smile, and laugh.

6. We can recommend and refer to one another.

7. We can coax optimism from each other.

8. We can patronize each other's business, services and practices, and recommend that others do the same.

9. We can plant our seeds now, when others are busy crying over a spoiled crop.

10. We can tell everyone that we, at THE NATIONAL NETWORKER, are a COMMUNITY -- we are a self-contained and growing ECONOMY -- we are very much like a new country with a youthful vision of PROSPERITY, based upon cooperation, integrity, and our best efforts.

The economic recession began with a loss of faith, and not with a loss of profitability, as many would have us believe. Let us be a cooperative, a team, a force -- let us fly in the face of a recession by boldly defying it.

Let us pledge our every thought and every action to building a new cooperative economy founded on responsibility, compassion, mutual support and optimism.

THE FUTURE WILL NOT MAKE US.

WE WILL MAKE THE FUTURE.

I appreciate every one of you, and I am ever-grateful to my friend Adam J. Kovitz, who invited me to what will become known as the greatest entrepreneurial movement in history. Be a part of it with us. We are here for you, too.

Faithfully, and with great respect,

Douglas Castle
