Dear Friends (and Readers who barely tolerate me):
I just updated my Linked In profile, at http://www.linkedin.com/in/douglascastle , and stated:
"DOUGLAS is trying to discern the difference between recursive and infinitely (sp) autocorrelative properties."
As I realize that more of my life is behind me than ahead of me, I am bothered by a misperception perpetrated by well-intended adults during my youth. They told their children (as we have told ours), that, "You'll know more when you get older. You'll understand when you get older...," and the like. I find that as my time remaining grows shorter, the number of questions inside of me is increasing at an accelerating rate, while the number of answers within my grasp is increasing at a far slower rate. This gap has become a chasm. I feel more mystified by the day.
