ANY SYSTEM THAT WORKS...
Any truly great system entails a confluence of art and engineering. The system has to take into account a large number of unrelated and interrelated variables in order to do what systems are created to do: To solve problems. To achieve goals.
There are a set of crucial variables, however, that will ultimately govern the real-life, real-time success (i.e., performance) of all systems:
Any devised system or procedure, regardless of the brilliance and elegance of its blueprint or design, is only useful if it is: thoroughly explained to all involved and affected parties, thoroughly reviewed with all involved and affected parties; comprised of specific tasks which are duly and clearly assigned to responsible individuals, properly beta-tested in a controlled or limited environment; fully implemented; constantly monitored; and improved or re-engineered as and if this may be required.
