THE NATIONAL NETWORKER COMPANIES...WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO:

The NATIONAL NETWORKER Newsletter is actually the gateway to THE NATIONAL NETWORKER COMPANIES, and their services. TNNW is, and will continue to be our flagship publication, and it will continue to be free. For everyone's edification (and to address a wonderfully direct question from Featured Columnist Beth Barany) here's the the picture, in brief:

THE NATIONAL NETWORKER COMPANIES

We are going to be changing our company name to THE NATIONAL NETWORKER COMPANIES LLC. This "umbrella company" will be the parent company to a number of Divisions, each of which will provide its own group of services. In general terms, THE NATIONAL NETWORKER COMPANIES LLC, (the "Holding Comapny") as an entity, will be in three businesses through its Divisons. And now...

Take a look at our Divisional Logos, and what goodies will be available to you under each. In our next Update!, we will give you the specific services (and page coordinates) for every single service catagory. Then, you'll be using us more than amy plumbing appliance. Also, note that we will be servicing and supporting everything thing that we provide. It's not a "sale"....its the beginning of a partnership with every one of our clients.

TNNW INTELLIGENCE - NEWSLETTERS, BULLETINS, RELEASES

Publishing and providing business news, information, research and intelligence for the benefit of its members through newsletters, news feeds, special bulletins, surveys, announcements, news releases, webinars, forums videos and events. The news, information, research and intelligence will be focused on all aspects of becoming successful personally and professionally -- in your life and in your career. Our membership is comprised of executives, entrepreneurs and professionals. They are united in their desire to achieve greater success, and in their desire to network, connect, collaborate and to become part of a greater community for the sharing of resources, and ultimately, for sharing in the profits of the world's first Global Interworked Cooperative Business Community (GICBC), which the Founders of the Holding Company believe will be the next form of business entity. Membership is free and is automatically granted with subscription to The TNNW Newsletter, and services are only provided to members. Ultimately, the Holding Company will be member-owned, with members becoming contributors and stakeholders in an internationally-diversified company. We promote authorship and a synergistic masterminding of ideas. We are changing ideas and energy into plans, progress, products and profits for our members and with our members.

TNNW SUPPORT - MEMBER SERVICES AND CONSULTING

Providing a suite of unique, innovative and powerful services for the benefit of all members. These services will not be available to the general public-at-large, and will include: PUBLICITY, NEWS RELEASES, MARKET RESEARCH, SURVEYS, CALENDAR POSTING, INTERNATIONAL AGENT/ DISTRIBUTOR and REPRESENTATION SERVICES, PUBLISHING, RISK MANAGEMENT SERVICES and FINANCING SERVICES.

TNNW BUZZWORKS - BRANDING AND SOCIAL MEDIA DOMINATION

Providing social media domination, image-building, branding and other buzz-related services through our own, internally-built Buzzworks Team. We have the ability to popularize individuals, ideas, products, publications for the benefit of our members. Buzzworks does its magic for members in connection with the services offered through the other Divisions. Our Principal Product has the unlikely name of "BRUTE FORCE REQUEST". We're not kidding.

And that, Ladies and Gentlemen, is who we are and what we do. We are privately owned, but we will be a ground-breaking GICBC (you can Google it... it is an acronym for "Global Interworked Cooperative Business Community") before you know it.

************

PROGRESS -

We are integrating our websites, blogsites and services to make them more user-friendly, more user-interactive and easier to navigate than ever before. We are finalizing the terms of affiliation with several other service-providers and international cause-centered organizations, including a Not-For-Profit [IRS Section 501(c)3] Foundation. All Members of record (as of that date) will be receiving special benefits, and will be thumbing their noses at you late-joiners in early 2010.

In the coming year will be more highly-focused on corroborative Member projects, personalized connecting, and edgy (which rhymes with "wedgie," but we would not say that) articles from some of our 16 new Featured Columnists.

We will be promoting our our TNNWC (the National Networker Companies) suite of services very aggressively to our growing Membership while constantly incorporating your indispensible feedback in the ever-evolving process of improving each of them.COMMUNITY -

We are not just a group of publications. We are not just a services provider. We are a community, and it is our pledge to use this potentialized, exponentialized critical-mass Supermind to aggressively and proactively assist every Member in attaining his or her goals for self-growth and professional, financial success.

NEW COMMENT BUTTON -

Many of our highly-opinionated and inordinately vociferous readers have been complaining that they would like a "comment" button embedded right in each article posting so that they could just click on it with their views, questions, ideas, suggestions, criticisms and rhubarb pie recipes (one elderly woman from Minnesota actually did want to send us recipes). Your wish has been granted...the following button will now be embedded in every article so that you may click, instantly access a pop-up form, and engage in an excoriating diatribe, a passionate rant, a productive suggestion, or a compliment to one of our talented but deeply tormented writers (think of Edgar Allen Poe, Sylvia Plath, or Ernest Hemmingway).

Would you just look at this button? Think of how easy it will now be to give us your BackTalk.

Dear Readers:

The brief article which follows appeared in the NEW YORK POST moments ago. To some, it would appear to be bad news for UNILEVER, the manufacturer of the popular SLIM-FAST drink. I see this as a perfect example of how putting the right spin on a news item can change everything. Their announcement follows. My revised version appears after the actual version. Remember -- publicity requires a great deal of creativity and is not recommended for the non-professional. It would be very unprofessional and unethical if I were to point out that you should be using TNNW's News Release Services (COMING SOON!) to utilize the media to your best possible advantage in a public relations or publicity campaign, and so I will not do that.

Diarrhea-Fast

Unilever announced yesterday it voluntarily recalling all its Slim-Fast drinks due to a possible bacterial contamination.

The company said in a statement the diet products may be contaminated with Bacillus cereus, a micro-organism that can cause diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, but the chance of serious health problems was "remote."

The recall involves all Slim-Fast RTD products in cans.

Slim-Fast: Faster Than Ever

Last Updated: 6:21 AM, December 5, 2009
Posted: 4:42 AM, December 5, 2009

Unilever announced yesterday a tremendous breakthrough and enhancement in its very popular line of Slim-Fast drinks.

For a few lucky consumers of the time-honored weight-reduction product (perhaps one in every 1,000, chosen at random), their purchases will contain a new, scientifically-proven, environmentally-friendly, colon-cleansing, enhancement! This incredible accelerant is actually a simple bacillus which increases the efficiency of the entire gastro-intestinal tract, greatly speeding up the weight-loss process without the use of dangerous appetite suppressants or drugs. The company is in the process of patenting this special bacillus, a spokesperson said.

The company said in a statement that through its aggressive test-marketing campaign, code-named "Operation Bazooka," certain randomized cans of the products, already on shelves at many stores, have been enhanced with Bacillus cereus, the eco-friendly micro-organism that many are heralding as "one of Mother Nature's best laxatives ever!" Some lucky consumers will likely be very, very surprised.

The company's vice president of new product development said he expects Unilever's share of the weight-loss drink market to increase exponentially as consumers get word of the explosive development.

Rumors that Unilever is also about to unveil new lines of adult diapers, bathroom deodorizers, antiemetics and a product which would compete head-to-head with Preparation H, were unconfirmed.

ANGER AND YOUR HEALTH - A Public Service Announcement

ANGER AND YOUR HEALTH - A Public Service Announcement

Dear Friends:

It's nothing new; we all understand that anger is an emotion, which if left unchecked can ultimately hurt our health. Bottled-up anger actually creates physical as well as emotional problems that can lead to sickness, and even death.

A study, presented by Andrea Thompson, Senior Writer for Live Science, discusses who tends to be the most susceptible to anger, what its effects may be, the different ways in which people express it and in which it manifests itself, and what can be done to either control it or to channel it so that it does the least damage.

Yes; anger can be reasonable, it can be a source of motivation or inspiration, or it can even be an important psychological defense mechanism -- but pent-up, unresolved anger over a prolonged period of time is almost always unhealthy. We hope that you'll find this article to be informative and helpful. The first step in solving a problem is always awareness.

Faithfully,

Douglas Castle (http://aboutDouglasCastle.blogspot.com)

Study Reveals the Angriest Americans

Andrea Thompson
Senior Writer
LiveScience.com andrea Thompson

Thu Dec 3, 2:35 pm ET

Anger is more likely among the young, those with children at home, and the less educated, a new study finds.
A national survey of 1,800 Americans aged 18 and older questioned participants on how and when they feel angry in order to build "a broader social portrait of anger in the United States," said study researcher Scott Schieman, now at the University of Toronto.
These angry emotions range from mild annoyance to yelling and feelings of outrage.
While anger is a normal human emotion, it could be detrimental if you hold on to it too long. And those who express their anger might actually live longer than those who keep it bottled in, one study found.
The results of the survey, conducted in 2005 and to be published next year, showed several key connections to anger.
For one, people under 30 experienced anger of all forms or intensities more frequently than did older adults. This was mainly due to the fact that young people are more likely to be affected by three core stressors that can trigger angry feelings, Schieman said:
  • Time pressures
  • Economic hardship
  • Interpersonal conflict at the workplace
Time pressures had the strongest link to anger, especially low-grade versions termed "feelings of annoyance," the study found.
Those who were under financial strain tended to report higher levels of anger, a connection that could be particularly important in today's flagging economy, Schieman noted. The financial influence tended to be stronger among women and younger adults.
Having children was also associated with angry feelings and behaviors, such as yelling, particularly in women, the survey found.
"There's obviously a lot of joys and benefits that come with parenthood," but other aspects of parenting, such as having to discipline a misbehaving child, can cause feelings of anger and annoyance, Schieman said.
Those with fewer years of education were also more likely to report feelings of anger and were less likely to respond proactively in a situation that made them angry (for example, talking about what made them angry).
"It underscores the power of getting more education," Schieman said. Education has been linked to feeling more self-control, which could be why those with more education tend to manage their anger more proactively, he told LiveScience.
Schieman's findings will be detailed in a chapter of the forthcoming International Handbook of Anger, to be released in January 2010.

Isolationism - A Dangerous Response To Economic and Emotional Depression

Isolationism - A Dangerous Response to Economic and Emotional Depression.

Note: This article was written by Douglas Castle for THE INTERNATIONALIST PAGE (http://TheInternationalistPage). The author is a Featured Columnist for THE NATIONAL NETWORKER Newsletter (a free subscription can be obtained at http://twitlik.com/IN). This article may not be reprinted, reproduced, republished or otherwise transmitted unless it appears in its entirety, with all attribution intact, and all hyperlinks live.

Dear Friends:

The article cited below this brief commentary appeared c/o Yahoo News! and was carried by Associated Press (AP). It is a sad treatise in predictable human behavior. Isolationism breeds incestuous reaffirmation of ill-conceived and inbred ideas; increasing fear of change; decreasing flexibility and adaptability; reduced trading opportunities for economic stimulus; reduced opportunities to find new friends and allies for personal and professional growth in the individuals;  suspicion and resentment amongst those who surround us in the Global Community but whom we cease to associate with or be concerned about; a culture of conformity, defensiveness and stagnation; and, a prolonged and deepened sense of loss in all quarters.

The isolationist road is a dangerous one for governments to take. Increased insularity amongst the population of a hurting nation, an apathy when it comes to affairs that are not in the immediate geographical locus and occuring only in the present moment (or in the anticipated tragedies of the near-term), and a dissociation from the greater world and potential future is tantamount to a return to feudalism. It is anti-evoluationry from the standpoint of beneficial individual and societal advancement.

Philosophically, the seeds of great change lie within us, to be found introspectively...but there exists an undeniable universe of greater possibilities in external exploration. We must employ both processes, and ignore neither.

As an Internationalist, as a Global Futurist, and as an ardent advocate of unlimited human potential, I am very fearful of the retreat and regression that invariably follows disappointment, or a loss of faith.

The channels of communication must be kept open. Curiosity and conversation must be encouraged. Sharing of greater amounts of information amongst a greater number of receptive minds (as in the collaborative aspect of the GICBC - The Global Interworked Cooperative Business Community) brings us closer to the "cerebral critical mass" needed to achieve breakthroughs for the improvement of the quality of life throughout all peoples of this world.

Let's not isolate. We must collaborate.

Faithfully,

Douglas Castle [ http://aboutDouglasCastle.blogspot.com ]

Poll: Isolationism soars among Americans

By BARRY SCHWEID, AP Diplomatic Writer

WASHINGTON – Americans are turning away from the world, showing a tendency toward isolationism in foreign affairs that has risen to the highest level in four decades, a poll out Thursday found.
Almost half, 49 percent, told the polling organization that the United States should "mind its own business" internationally and let other countries get along the best they can on their own, the Pew Research Center survey found. That's up from 30 percent who said that in December 2002.
Results of the survey appear to conflict with President Barack Obama's activist foreign policy, including a newly announced buildup of 30,000 U.S. troops in Afghanistan to fight Taliban and al-Qaida extremists.
"Isolationist Sentiment Surges to Four-Decade High," the nonpartisan research center headlined its report on the poll about America's role in the world.
Only 32 percent of the poll respondents favored increasing U.S. troops in Afghanistan, while 40 percent favored decreasing them. And fewer than half, or 46 percent, of those polled said it was somewhat or very likely that Afghanistan would be able to withstand the radicals' threat.
Forty-one percent of those surveyed said the United States plays a less important and powerful role as a world leader than it did a decade ago, up from 25 percent who said that just before the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the report said.
Pew Research Center President Andrew Kohut said in an interview that the "very bad economy" appeared most responsible for the growth of isolationist sentiment. He said the public was also "displeased with the two wars we are waging, in Iraq and Afghanistan."
While isolationism and unilateralism reached four-decade highs among the public, the stature of China increased.
Among Americans polled, 44 percent said China was the world's leading economic power compared with 27 percent who named the United States. In February 2008, 41 percent said the U.S. was the leading economic power, while 30 percent said China.
A majority of Americans surveyed, or 53 percent, see China's emerging power as a threat to the United States.
The United States is seen by a comfortable majority, 63 percent, as the world's leading military power.
Concerning the Middle East, about half, or 51 percent, of respondents said they were more sympathetic toward Israel than to the Palestinians, who drew 12 percent. Fourteen percent supported neither side, while 19 percent offered no opinion.
The findings come from two surveys. The first poll, of 2,000 adults, was conducted by telephone Oct. 28 to Nov. 8 and had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. A subsequent poll of 1,003 people conducted from Nov. 12-15 had a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
